Media, Entertainment and Martial Arts

Simon is available for a variety of media work including TV appearances, newspaper/magazine features and columns, consultancy, awards shows, martial arts demonstrations and more.

Simon has a varied career in both the media and the martial arts. In his 15 year media career as a writer and editor he has worked for national newspapers, magazines, local papers and trade publications.

Simon is a regular judge on the televised music/talent contests Live & Unsigned and Open Mic (Sky TV). As a journalist he has worked for the Daily Express, Metro, Daily Star, Daily Sport, NHS News, New magazine and The Big issue as well as appearing as a pundit on Sky TV's Channel M.

He also has a lifelong love of martial arts and is a qualified instructor of Karate, Jujutsu and Tai Chi. He is director of the United Kingdom Budo Federation, chairman of TEMAA, vice president of the International Toshu Jutsu Federation, a founder member of the English Karate Federation as holds the grades of 4th Dan (Renshi) Karate, 2nd Dan Jujutsu, 2nd Dan Judo and 2nd Duan Tai Chi.
